Itomic specialises in Drupal open source content management system. They have been the brains behind the development of systems for publishing an online edition, presenting our own branded video, managing a pay-wall around our premium content, archiving articles and videos, building social media links, optimising pages for search engines and dealing with the pressures of a busy site. Itomic have set up our website so that we are mainly self sufficient and able to do a reasonable amount of customising without even needing to ask for their help. Itomic always have a ‘can do’ attitude to web development whilst remaining practical and efficient. I needed a transfusion of ideas to enliven a serious message directed at 400,000 people living in Perth. The words were right, but the images, graphics, design and feel of the project needed to be balanced and appeal in order to attract our target market’s attention. We approached Itomic after a disastrous engagement with a previous IT firm. Our needs were immediate, critical and time was of the essence. Ross, on behalf of Itomic, paid a visit to out offices immediately. He listened patiently to a rather complex outline of our needs (long term and immediate), committed to deliver, and although I was sceptical that this would (could) be done within our required timeframe, the goods were not only delivered, but were done so immediately – with the first phase delivered within hours (late that same evening in fact). We then progressed with the short and medium terms plans I had for ASA. This involved a few requirements and functionality not seen before on the net, and as a distinctly “non IT person” my requirements were somewhat demanding! Not phased, Itomic took on the project, and developed the required functionality, site and client management systems for us on time and on budget.

As on ongoing long term project, with near daily ongoing support required (even at 1am in the morning!), Itomic have exceeded my expectations and have always been extremely supportive, patient and most importantly, have always delivered the goods (even if my brief for a “quick” tweak or extra feature was done from 15,000 kms away, or in a “I need this now” manner). Our project is now only in phase 3 of 7 initially planned phases. Already saving us time and money on a daily basis, the functionality developed by Itomic has dramatically improved our operational requirements globally. What I conceived as an idea, a “dream system” really, has been brought to life by Itomic. Bottom line really is: These guys are good, they are reliable, and they deliver. No challenge is too big, no requirement too insignificant, and no functionality from a really “demanding” client ever a problem to develop. I see Itomic as a vital link in our long term plans, a partner and associate – not just as an IT firm we engaged for services.

The standard of your work has been outstanding. Despite initial reservations that Brainstorm and Itomic operate on different sides of the planet, you guys at Itomic have surpassed all our expectations. Your highly professional service delivered us a high quality, user friendly, corporate-grade website on time and within budget. Furthermore using Itomic’s proprietary CMS technologies we can now easily manage all of the key content on our site using a standard web browser, which translates into large cost savings for us, and no more bottlenecks waiting for skilled developers to make those changes. Thanks to a combination of great design and Itomic’s SEO (Search Engine Optimisation), our site receives about 7 million hits per month and rising. When interviewing web firms to undertake the project to redevelop Biante’s e-commerce website Itomic were the only firm who clearly demonstrated they understood what it was we required and that the entire project must be finished by the deadline. Throughout the project Itomic allowed Biante to oversee almost on a daily basis the development of our site which they should be commended for. Itomic demonstrated that the clients needs were the most important element in the project. We will use Itomic for future work and highly recommend them.
