Passport to Democracy provides valuable lesson resources for teachers and students, but its existing website was built on a system that could no longer be effectively maintained. With no access to the original source, making updates or addressing technical issues had become increasingly difficult, creating a need for a more sustainable platform.
We rebuilt the website on a modern, maintainable platform while preserving the content, resources and functionality that made the existing site useful. The new build focused on creating a reliable foundation that could be easily managed and updated, while providing a clear and accessible experience for teachers and students.
Passport to Democracy now has a stable, maintainable website that can continue to support its educational program into the future. The new platform makes ongoing updates simpler, reduces reliance on an unsupported legacy system, and provides a solid foundation for the site to evolve as its resources and audience grow.
