Newland curated an extensive database of parts in a spareparts.live, but their website only had basic intregration with this service. This presented a clunky user interface and was a poor reflection of their company's commitment to quality. A new website was needed to better promote Newland's capabilities, and present the parts in an easier to user manner.
We started by familiarising ourselves with the spareparts.live APIs to ascertain what could be achieved. After this investigation, we concluded that the best approach would be to automate regular imports of the part data into a Woo Commerce installation. We could then build off this functionality to repurpose the shopping cart into a quote system.
The spareparts.live data is now completely integrated onto the website, providing a seamless experience for customers looking for parts. The updated design makes the benefits of working with Newland clear, and will serve to improve brand awareness going forward.
