Itomic narrowly missed winning the business of Trade Chaser when
they were looking for web partner the first time around. Not many
months later and Trade Chaser were starting to realise that cheaper
was not translating into better. Trade Chaser knew that they needed
to get the project back on track, and so they got back on the phone
to us. We were delighted to be given a second chance to prove
ourselves.
Luckily for Trade Chaser the losing web company handed over all
the website code (some companies will block this), so we were able
to get to work almost immediately on fixing things up using skilled
internal resources. Naturally the client was nervous that he'd get
burnt again (and at a higher hourly rate), so we took a "time and
materials" approach to the work.We advised the client that they
should judge us on our results. If the results weren't up to
scratch, then they were free to walk away, with no "vendor lock-in"
from us. Of course we were supremely confident that superior
results would ensue, and that this was occurring on all fronts
became obvious to the client very quickly.
