Last Wednesday we at Itomic were very pleased to be able to host a meetup of Drupal professionals and enthusiasts right here at our office in West Perth.
Drupal is a powerful open source (no vendor lock-in!) website content management system that is already dominant in Europe and North America and is making huge strides into the Asia-Pacific region. Oh, and Kevin Rudd (PM of Australia) uses it on his website – so it must be good! 🙂
Drupal meetups are an excellent way to meet with others in your local area who are interested in building and strengthening the Drupal Community. Attendees discuss new and exciting Drupal-related news, and/or just like to socialise with like-minded people.
At the March meetup we welcomed representatives from government and private companies, all with Drupal on their minds. We hope they enjoyed the nibbles and liquid refreshment that Itomic laid on!
