As part of Itomic’s commitment to provide staff with ongoing and relevant training, Liam Hargreaves, Itomic’s National Production Manager has recently achieved PRINCE2 certification.
PRINCE2 is an international standard adopted by many organisations for projects large and small. At Itomic we understand that many clients have adopted the PRINCE2 methodology to provide a consistent approach to their project delivery. It is therefore important that we are able to extend this consistent approach to such organisations to help them reduce costs and increase benefits.
Congratulations Liam!
Wikipedia’s definition of PRINCE2…
PRojects IN Controlled Environments (PRINCE) is a structured project management method covering the management, control and organisation of a project. “PRINCE2” refers to the second major version of this method and is a registered trademark of the Office of Government Commerce (OGC), an independent office of HM Treasury of the United Kingdom. PRINCE2 was released in 1996 as a generic project management method which has become increasingly popular and is now a de facto standard for project management in the UK and its use has spread beyond the UK to more than 50 other countries. PRINCE2 provides a common language for all participants in the project and describes procedures for coordinating people and activities within a project, how to design and supervise the project, and what to do if the project has to be adjusted if it doesn’t develop as planned.
