Itomic is a Google Apps Authorized Reseller

Here at Itomic we’re massive GAPPS (Google Apps) fans. We all use it every day for email, calendars, document management, internal wiki, and so much more. We’re also official resellers of GAPPS, and encourage all our clients to use it,  although of course there are worthy alternatives such as Microsoft Office 365.

GAPPS is fully web browser-based and therefore “in the cloud”, which helps to make it very accessible from all manner of devices such as smartphones and tablets. There’s no software that is required to be installed on your computer, although the functionality of some components can be enhanced by the installation of software, e.g. Google Drive.

But what if you’re a die-hard Microsoft Outlook user, as many business customers are? Can you still use GAPPS?

Short answer: Yes!

Longer answer: Yes! But you’ll be missing out on the complete range of features and benefits offered by GAPPS, and you might not like the compromises that Outlook is required to make in order to work with Google Apps. After all, as the video below clearly points out, Google Apps and Microsoft are fundamentally different products. Which is why our advice at Itomic is: if you want Google Apps, try to let go of Outlook!

Making GAPPS and Microsoft Outlook work together is the job of a Google software product called Google Apps Sync for Microsoft Outlook. There’s a brief video on the software product page that explains it very nicely. Here it is below for your convenience:
