Congratulations Liam on becoming ITIL certified

Everyone at Itomic would like to congratulate Liam Hargreaves on becoming ITIL certified. Liam is Itomic’s National Production Manager, and one of our Perth Project Managers.

What is ITIL? Wikipedia says that:

The Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) is a set of concepts and practices for managing Information Technology (IT) services (ITSM), IT development and IT operations.

What this means in practice is that Liam is officially now even more capable than he was before to manage IT projects of all shapes and sizes. Indeed, so recognised is ITIL as a formal standard that we’re increasingly being sent RFQs for website projects that specifically require Itomic to offer up ITIL certified on the project team. So this is great for Liam, great for Itomic, and great for our valued customers. This is part of Itomic’s ongoing commitment to provide staff with ongoing and relevant training that translates into superior customer experiences.

Well done Liam!

p.s. Don’t tell anyone, but Liam and Terry (another excellent Itomic Project Manager) are working on becoming Prince2 certified as well, which is another well-recognised project management qualification. We’ll let you know when they’ve got Prince2 under their belts, plus other new staff qualifications/certifications as they happen.
