We’re pleased to be able to confirm Swaen Vernooij as the third team member of the Itomic swim team for the 2010 Rottnest Channel Swim. Swaen is 25 years old, and was a teenage swimming sensation (our words, not his), and is very motivated to target the 2010 event as a way of getting back into the swim of things. A prospectve 4th team member is currently being worked on (over?), and we hope to announce HER name next month.
In other news, Ross is working on his bi-lateral breathing technique (increased speed, easier to swim in a straight line!), and Annie is trying very hard not to keep smashing her hand on the lane ropes!
