Today we took 2 hours out of our busy schedule for something really very important: learning about saving lives.
Thanks to Rob of Surf Life Saving WA all Perth Itomicans got to learn (or update themselves) on a wide range of life saving and first aid techniques – from snake bikes to cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR),defibrilation to hypoglycemia.
Just like in our professional lives, it’s important to keep up with the latest best practices, and first aid is no different. For example, did you know that best practice CPR has recently been updated to 30 chest compressions then 2 breaths?
Melbourne Itomicans can expect to get their team training shortly.
