Itomic up for 2010 web awards in 3 categories

November 1, 2010

Ben Ben Townsend

We’re pleased as punch to announce that a website designed and built by Itomic has been nominated in 3 categories for the 2010 Australian Web Industry Association web awards.

The website in question is http://www.swapkidsclothes.com.au/ – where swapping (kids clothing) is the new shopping! Thanks so much to Kim and Michael Robertson (the owners of the site) for trusting Itomic to make your vision a reality.

The website is a winning example of close collaboration between Itomic’s Perth and Melbourne offices. The technical aspects of the site were managed by our man Jude in Melbourne, with front-end assistance from Jack, and the eye-catching design was created by Andrew in Perth. Great work guys!

The 3 categories the site has been nominated in, for the “WA Region”, are:

  • Innovation (sponsored by Microsoft)
  • Online Retail
  • Virtual Business

Should the site be victorious in any of these categories, it’ll then immediately go up against the winners in the same categories in other regions of Australia to challenge for the national title. All will be revealed this coming Saturday night, November 6th, at a Gala Dinner at the Parmelia Hilton in Perth.
