This is to announce that in January 2013, Itomic’s Melbourne office is on the move!
We’ve been in the same office in South Yarra since we’re opened our Melbourne doors in 2008, and now it’s time for a change.
Why?
#1 reason by far is that it will dramatically reduce the commute time for the majority of our staff, who all live in Melbourne’s eastern suburbs. Our average per person 1-way commute time to/from our South Yarra office location is currently between 40 and 60 mins, and this time will be cut to between 5 and 20 mins for the majority of staff, which means:
- Reduced carbon footprint
- Less low/non productive time
- Increased opportunity for team members to ride or walk (or jog!) to work. Healthier staff!

Here’s a Google street view of the new modern office: http://goo.gl/maps/pyuUg. Other tenants of the same building include a couple of technology companies (you might spot one of them in the steet view!), so we’ll be in good company. Also noteworthy is that our new office is literally overlooking Blackburn railway station, and Blackburn railway station is on the express line to Melbourne city. So nipping in and out of the city (where many of our clients are) for meetings will be a breeze.
We’ll also be announcing a new 1300 telephone number shortly, but rest assured that the current landline number will work just fine for the time being.
