Congratulations Terry Mahoney from all your team mates at Itomic!
Today, 25th Feb 2011, Terry sat and passed – with flying colours we might add – his Prince2 Foundation exam.
Prince2 is the acronym for PRojects IN Controlled Environments. It covers the management, control and organisation of a project, and it’s a certification that we like all our Project Managers at Itomic to either have, or be studying for.
If the truth be told, Prince2 methodologies can be “over the top” for some of the smaller web projects we run. A sledgehammer to crack a nut, you might say. We remember one occasion when a new client said to us “excellent – you’re Prince2 certified – but please don’t use that on our project!”. So it’s certainly a case of “horses for courses” in terms of when we apply Prince2 methods to an Itomic web project.
We’re delighted to have supported Terry to achieve this certification. It confirms our commitment to be ever more skilled and capable when it comes to managing and delivering the largest of website challenges – on time, in budget, and with consistent quality outcomes.
Great work, Terry.
p.s. Other Prince2 certified Itomic team members include Liam Hargreaves and Andy Spencer. Welcome to the club, Terry 🙂
